OUR PLAN
Our desire is that The Way Experience invokes change in all of those who attend. We're a church not called to produce an event or an engagement but to provide an experience which pushes those who attend to intimacy in worship, integrity in heart, and intensity in faith.
INTIMACY IN WORSHIP
We are not looking to provide 2 songs and a sermonic selection but we want intimacy to be cultivated between the Creator and His creation. We want to ignite this innate longing to be close to the father through worship, adoration, prayer, fasting and the like. James 4:8a says, "Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you". This nearness to God is what we want to provoke; where a perpetual longing to be in His presence is sought.
INTEGRITY IN HEART
Our desire is to see an honest reflection of God's spirit revealed from the leadership to laity. God's word is the only thing that can penetrate and cleanse one's heart and therefore all of what we do, will be undergirded with God's word. Nothing will be done out of vain repetition or religious formality but God's word will be evident in all that we do in order that fertile ground might be cultivated in the hearts of the hearers. The hearers can then declare as in Psalm 119:11, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You".
INTENSITY IN FAITH
James 2:22b states,"as a result of the works, faith was perfected". It is not enough for a seed to be planted into the hearts of the hearers and yet that word does not manifest into works. Intensity is defined as strength or force therefore our desire is to see force behind the hearer's faith as a result of the Way Experience. We want them to leave the doors of our church with a level of faith that strengthens and forces them to live what they've learned.
